Q: "Do I really need to have an ideal client persona?"
A: My simple answer is a resounding yes. When you try to be something to everyone, you end up being nothing to no one. As a personal trainer, having an ideal client persona is important because it helps you target and spend marketing dollars that attract the right type of client for your training. By creating a clear picture of your ideal client, including their demographics, goals, challenges, and preferences, you can tailor your marketing efforts and messaging to resonate with them specifically, which saves you both time and money. It not only improves the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns but also enables you to provide a more personalized and tailored experience to your clients that can lead to higher client satisfaction and better business growth. This is from a marketing perspective where you spend both time and money looking for clients. If someone wants to train with you, but they aren’t your ideal client, consider that a bonus. Someone found you and wants to work with you, but you didn’t spend any marketing funds to find them. 😁😁

Just who exactly am I, and why do I devote my time to helping personal trainers grow their businesses using technology? It’s a passion of mine, combining three things I love - technology, entrepreneurship, and fitness (if I could add golf to those three, I’d be in heaven).
