How often do you email your clients?

A ChatGPT prompt to help increase that number

Here is your ChatGPT prompt of the week:

When I speak at fitness conferences, I have a slide where the audience can respond to a question on the slide from their seats and their answers are shown on the projector. I like this because it allows people to stay anonymous and hopefully answer questions more honestly. Would you really raise your hand (even if you wanted to) in a room of 1,000 fellow fitness pros when the speaker asks something that might be embarrassing?

One question I’ve started to ask is, “How often do you email your client?”

The answers shock me.

Never

Once a year, when their payment is due

Every quarter

We need to stay at the top of our clients' minds for several reasons.

It builds trust

It improves client retention

It enhances engagement

This week’s ChatGPT quote is your first step to creating an email communication plan with your clients. A welcome sequence.

I will spend 20 minutes diving deeper into how to use the prompt on this week’s Tech Tips with Ted on Tuesday at Ten Zoom session. There is no cost to attend; come with questions.

That’s 10 am Pacific Time.

Fair warning - I am just one week post-surgery, so I might look and sound funny, but never fear, I wrote this prompt BEFORE I went under :)

PS. I am writing this newsletter for you. If you have any questions, thoughts, or concerns, please reply to this email and let me know!

Why did you get this email?

You received this email because you either signed up willingly on my website, downloaded something from me, met me at a conference, or there's a crafty impersonator out there who convinced us they're you 😊.

If you want to leave our email adventures, click the unsubscribe button. Don’t worry; we can still be friends. The content wasn’t right for you at this moment in life, and I hate spam as much as you do.

Fancy keeping up with my shenanigans on social media? Dive into Instagram and look up thefitwellacademy for some fun. Prefer X (formerly known as Twitter)?  Find me there @tedvickey or @DrPinkSocks.  More of a LinkedIn aficionado?  Search by name; there is only one Ted Vickey in the whole world.

Let's talk about the perks of my emails.  The biggest perk is learning something from the emails you didn’t yet know. If that happens just once, I will be happy. Sometimes, I'll sprinkle in affiliate links. That's my secret sauce for earning a little extra for my golf fund. But I promise, no random plugs. Only the swag and partners I think you might like.

Alright, off my soapbox. Huge thanks for letting me into your inbox.

Your presence is never, ever taken for granted.
