Prompt of the Week - How to use ChatGPT to create fitness images and logos

It's not as hard as you think!

Here is your ChatGPT tip of the week: Using ChatGPT to create fitness images

Looking to create stunning visuals to use in your fitness business? This is a question I hear a lot. While not perfect, ChatGPT can be a great tool to use to brainstorm for the look and feel that you can then send to another program (or graphic designer) to improve.

Here’s what I use as a prompt:

Create a minimalist logo that is easily recognizable and memorable. The logo should feature a dumbbell-shaped chat bubble rising over the horizon, symbolizing a new daily prompt.

Focus on a single, strong visual without any clutter.

Utilize the following color palette in the design:

Dark Gray: #2a2e33

Orange: #e3824a

Red: #bf5245

Light Beige: #fff5e1

Lavender Gray: #b5a9c5 Teal: #459fa0

Key Elements to Include: A dumbbell in the shape of a chat bubble, a horizon line, a minimalist style avoiding extra details or clutter, and the use of the specified color palette.

Objectives: Ensure the logo is simple yet impactful. The logo should be versatile and work well in various sizes and contexts. The design should clearly convey the idea of a new prompt emerging each day.

Using the prompt above in ChatGPT 40, here is what it created the first time:

And the second time:

Is it perfect? No.

Does it help me brainstorm ideas I can use to create what I want? Absolutely.

Don’t be shocked when (it’s just a matter of time) you can create exactly what you want using ChatGPT. There are other AI options that can already do it.

Notes to consider:

  1. I wanted to be extra specific in my instructions for the prompt. Being as specific as possible will make your time more efficient.

  2. One limitation of creating images is that ChatGPT isn’t always the best for spelling. If I can’t correct the spelling, I will say in the prompt, “Do not use words,” and then I will take the logo, import it to Canva, and add the words there.

  3. You can use the exact same prompt and get a totally different image. This is great if you want to brainstorm image ideas, but it can be frustrating if you want to improve what ChatGPT just created.

  4. When using Chrome (I haven’t yet tested on other browsers), my image is saved as a “WEBP” file. This is a new image format created by Google to make online images less bulky by significantly reducing photo and graphic sizes, allowing websites to load faster. You can easily convert a WEBP image to JPG or TIFF using one of the many converters online or in Canva. TECH TIP: if you want the image as a JPG, just “print-screen” and save the image.

I wanted to see how ChatGPT would perform, asking it to create a human-like picture.

Here is my VERY SPECIFIC prompt:

A close-up of an alien/humanoid/AI/Robot female head, set in the realm of science fiction. The scene is a wide establishing shot of a futuristic neural research facility, where the boundaries of human and machine are blurred. The style should be reminiscent of masters like Stanley Kubrick, Ridley Scott, and Christopher Nolan, with a sense of depth and scale. The shot should be taken with a Hasselblad H6D-100c, with a 100MP sensor, ISO sensitivity of 64, and Shutter speed of 1/2000 second. The skin of the female robot should be realistic, with the frame granting a sense of awe and wonder. The low-key lighting casts mysterious shadows, revealing glimpses of neural interfaces, advanced technology, and holographic displays. The mood is enigmatic, with cool blue tones and contrasting orange highlights punctuating the scene. The composition should focus on the female robot head in the foreground, her features are a seamless blend of human-like elegance and intricate mechanical design.

And the result:
